I founded Visitor First, an applied ethnographic research consultancy in order for businesses to gain a strong understanding of their consumers’ wants, needs, and expectations and to be able to create amazing visitor experiences. 

We prefer the term “visitors” because modern consumers have options, ideas, preferences, and information - they choose a product for a certain familiarity, a certain memory, or need fulfilled; like a guest in our homes. Visitors want products, services, and experiences that suit their needs; but can organizations understand and deliver? As experts for qualitative research, we define hopes, worries, expectations, and dreams to localize and evaluate the visitor’s problems and needs in daily life, which leads back to a better product and service.

We use strong data to optimize product promises and brand experiences in the long term. As a valuable addition to big data and statistics, clients receive the necessary know-how to recognize emerging market potentials early and to act upon them strategically. Trends no longer remain trends, but become valid research results that we can trust. We offer extensive needs and user research, innovation, and strategy management. Through prototyping and testing, we help businesses develop complete service and product innovations that are tailored to their needs and their visitors.
