MLOVE Smart City Future Campus - Ethnographic Research
The Smart City Future Campus “Challenges, Opportunities and Risks for a Smart Future study” was in-depth targeted research on the relations between people and future technologies of Mobility, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Smart Cities. We heavily considered the consequences of bringing cutting-edge technology into everyday life and the hopes, visions, and fears tied to this process. The social frameworks that produce these technologies were also analyzed.
In this project I designed and oversaw the entire research and analysis process: I designed the central special research model based on ethnographic methodologies; I created, trained people on, and coordinated the interview guide and process; I interpreted the data and drafted the study document.
The resulting study was published and distributed at several conferences on Smart Cities, Human development and referenced in a number of studies.
