U&I Foundation

The You & I Foundation (YAIF) is an Ugandan NGO supporting underserved neighborhoods in Uganda, serving both nationals and refugees living in the country. YAIF has built a school and community centers in the Kyebando ghetto, organizing both school lessons and various up-skilling workshops for hundreds of local residents free of charge. YAIF also support a number of organizations with logistical, strategic and physical resources. Projects include organizing the refugee Olympics, supporting the Ghetto Research Lab in Kampala, Opportunigee in Nakivale.

I am a Strategic Advisor and Board Member of this beautiful organization since 2019 and I help with sourcing grants and donations, ensuring alignment with the UN SDGs, drafting the organization’s charter, processes, advising on financial planning and supporting team development through workshops.

You & I Foundation currently teaches, trains and supports over 260 individuals per month and leads and supports 5 projects per year.
