Empathy Building Project / Holocaust Survivors

The Holocaust Witness Ambassador project is a large-scale endeavor that supports empathy with amazing human experiences and cutting-edge technology. 

Empathy is a crucial building block of humanity’s shared future. In Germany (similar to other countries around the world) in recent years, antisemitism and racism have been known concerning increases in popularity. In 2021 the idea for the Witness Ambassador project came about: a project that aims to keep the memory of the Holocaust Survivors alive and to convey their message via VR and AI tools into German classrooms and beyond. I see this project as having the potential to not only raise awareness of Holocaust Survivors but also to build empathy for all current victims and witnesses of conflicts around the globe. 

This nascent project has only been discussed starting in April 2021. I am currently supporting the Contents and Communications strategy by gathering and communicating with supporters from the governmental, academic, and non-profit sectors to make this project a reality.
